We Are Here For You ~ COVID-19 Operational Update #2   

As we are all striving to find our temporary "New Normal", know that we continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments to our operating procedures for the well being of both our customers and our team members. We realize that you count on us for the health and welfare of your four-legged family members and as part of the critical infrastructure as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, we feel we have a special responsibility to maintain our normal work schedule to be here for them – and you!   

Currently, we are keeping NORMAL STORE HOURS (Mon – Fri 7A to 6P, Sat & Sun 9A to 3P) in an effort to support social distancing by reducing the number of people in the store at the same time. If you come in store, you will notice additional space allocated at our registers and we are asking customers to put a credit card on file so that purchases can be facilitated with as little contact as possible. On days where the weather allows, we are keeping our doors propped open to minimize touchable surfaces, please forgive the layer of pollen settling around the store, we feel it’s a small price to pay for everyone’s increased safety ?!   

We are ENCOURAGING YOU to take advantage of our CURBSIDE PICKUP or DELIVERY options. You can call in orders (910-692-2385) during regular business hours or text them (910-603-8202). You may also message us through Facebook, Email (info@mooreequine.com) or our Website but please be advised that the notification and processing times on these options is sometimes delayed so an immediate response may not be possible.    

At this point, we are not experiencing any Covid-19 related supply issues. The main problem right now is distribution from our suppliers – i.e.: lack of physical truck space for increased purchasing. We are receiving all of our regular order allotments with no issues and are continuing to plan ahead and have added, and will continue to add as available, additional stock of pet food, feed, hay, and shavings as well as other supplies.    

Before you turn to Amazon or Chewy for your pet needs, please don't forget about us and all the other small business in your community! We speak for every brick and mortar store in Moore County when we say we are working hard to adapt to serve you better, we appreciate your business and look forward to serving you now and in the future!
